“It was a wonderful surprise to discover the poetic talent of María Justina Poblet
Schilling, a talent that unfolds naturally and engagingly throughout the more than 100 poems in her new book. The author touches upon timeless themes—those that have concerned humanity for centuries… love, destiny, the uncertain future of mortals, the memory of loved ones who have passed too soon, life with all its joys and vicissitudes.
At the same time, beyond these transcendent themes, we find pages that describe the emotions of the moment—simple and delicate, like a Japanese haiku—suggested by nature, by the flight of a bird, by the sight of the sea, by the return to a distant homeland…
With great pleasure, and as someone passionate about literature since my youth, I
wholeheartedly recommend reading this original work of art written by María Justina Poblet Schilling.”
